Five for Fighting
Five for Fighting is the stage name of John Ondrasik. In his early years Ondrasik learned the piano. As a teenager, he learned how to play the guitar and started to write music. While he also learned to sing opera briefly, he quickly decided that he would like to be a singer/songwriter.
My favorite song by him: 100 Years, but my second favorite is Superman. Click a link to go check him out.

Panic at the Disco
Panic at the Disco, is much like Fall Out Boy, Panic at the Disco (formerly known as Panic! at the Disco) is a rock band that originated in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. Their sound incorporates elements of pop punk, big beat, electronica, techno, and rock, along with many other genres like , baroque pop, folk and jazz.[citation needed] Their 2005 debut album, A Fever You Can't Sweat Out, reached #13 on the US Billboard 200, and has sold over 2.2 million copies since its September 2005 release. The band's second album, Pretty. Odd., was released on March 25, 2008 and debuted at #2 in the US.
Current members
- Brendon Urie - vocals, guitar, keyboards (2004-present)
- Ryan Ross - guitar, keyboards, vocals (2004-present)
- Jon Walker - bass guitar, vocals (2006-present)
- Spencer Smith - drums, percussion (2004-present)
If you want to have some laughs this is a link to Out Boy doing a cover of Panic at the Disco's song.
Only thing I'd say is annoying about Panic at the Disco is their long name, and the fact that they're kinda repetitive in their songs, not that they're the only ones.

U2
This Irish rockband is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!! They have one more Grammy Awards than any other band. They have also ben inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I really like U2 for all they have done for the planet and they have great music. My favorite song is Beautiful Day.
Here are the lyrics I am doing for my project:
The heart is a bloom
Shoots up through the stony ground
There's no room
No space to rent in this town
You're out of luckAnd the reason that you had to care
The traffic is stuck
And you're not moving anywhere
You thought you'd found a friend
To take you out of this place
Someone you could lend a hand
In return for grace
It's a beautiful day
Sky falls, you feel likeIt's a beautiful day
Don't let it get away
You're on the road
But you've got no destination
You're in the mud
In the maze of her imagination
You love this town
Even if that doesn't ring true
You've been all over
And it's been all over you
It's a beautiful day
Don't let it get away
It's a beautiful day
Touch me
Take me to that other place
Teach meI know I'm not a hopeless case
See the world in green and blue
See China right in front of you
See the canyons broken by cloud
See the tuna fleets clearing the sea out
See the Bedouin fires at night
See the oil fields at first light
And see the bird with a leaf in her mouth
After the flood all the colors came out
It was a beautiful dayDon't let it get awayBeautiful day
Touch me
Take me to that other place
Reach meI knowI'm not a hopeless case
What you don't have you don't need it now
What you don't know you can feel it somehow
What you don't have you don't need it now
Don't need it now
Was a beautiful day

This is my dads band. They have been playing for about 15 years. They never got really popular but their music is really good. They have a lot of fun and I also have fun watching them. My dad is the vocalist.

Kanye West/Daft Punk
I acknowledge Kanye West the most for his bratty attitude at award shows. But his music isn't too bad check out his grammy performance. "Stronger" Click on "I acknowledge Kanye West" to see the video. Notice the people behind him, that's Daft Punk, I love their remix of his song. There really cool too.

Foo Fighters
The Foo Fighters is a great band made up of Taylor Hawkins, Dave Grohl, Pat Smear, Nate Mendel, and Chris Shiflett. This is another great rock band that has it's roots from the legendary band, Nirvana. Dave Grohl, Nirvana's former drummer, founded the Foo Fighters in the year 1995. If you have ever heard one of Taylor Hawkins' drum solos, then you know that you are listening to The Foo Fighters. I truly look up to him when ever I play a drum solo for I feel like he is my brother. Listening to someone play music, you can tell what kind of music that they like to listen to. Hearing me play, you can hear a hint of Hawkins and Keith Moon. Get one of their albums, they rock! Pretender Video
Hi this is Brianne, I know I'm posting on Hunter's post I just wanted to add that I like the Foo Fighters too. Here's another video of my favorite song by them. Learn to Fly

The Police
Come on, who doesn't know the Police? If you are looking to find a great band check out these guys. The Police mainly is about he symbol work of Stewart Colplin (the drummer) he is is modest but then again watching him play, he is crazy. The fact that he can insert fifty million symbol sounds into one measure makes these guys worth paying good money to sit in the front. If you are looking for a great Police song, "Message in a Bottle" is a classic. Also check out "Walking on the Moon," "Little Black Spider" and many others. There are many great bands and this is definitely one of them.

The Who
Who really is The Who? Some lyric sites don't even know. So says the person who sits diagonal from me. This post tells you all you want to hear and more. The thing about this 60s group is their fun and wild personality. On stage you see Keith Moon's drumsticks flying all over the place, Pete Townshend and Roger Daltre making both freaking out on the guitar, and you see John Entwistle, their awesome bassist, sitting in the corner just kind of doing his thing. This English rock band is sure something but due to the fatal death of Keith Moon the only way you can hear them is by listening to an old record. Even so, Keith Moon's drumming is still my idol. Check out more or watch their videos for this is something that you sure don't want to miss out on.
